Drive times come from road routing without traffic. West Sikkim's roads are narrow, steep and winding, with landslide repairs in and after the monsoon, so real drives take longer than shown, often much longer on the Yuksom and Ravangla roads. Opening hours marked ? are not yet confirmed, so check them before you go.

Late morning, for the mountains behind the statue.
If you like monasteries, yes. Tashiding is one of the holiest places in Sikkim and the Buddha Park statue faces the snow peaks. It is a long day on slow roads, so skip it if you get car sick.
Can I do Ravangla on the way out of Pelling?+
Yes. Ravangla is on one of the roads from Pelling to Gangtok, so many people see the Buddha Park on the day they leave instead of coming back to Pelling.
Which days should I avoid?+
None of these sights closes on a fixed weekday. Heavy rain is the bigger risk: in July and August landslides can close roads, and the Skywalk can shut in a storm.
