More or less time in Mysuru?

Questions people ask

Is 2 days enough for Mysuru?

Yes. Two days covers the palace, Chamundi Hill, the city centre, Tipu Sultan's Srirangapatna, Ranganathittu and the Brindavan Gardens fountain. A third day adds Somanathapura, the zoo and the rail museum.

Which day should be Srirangapatna?

Any day but Friday, when Daria Daulat Bagh, Tipu's summer palace, is closed. The two days can go in either order.

Why does day two start at 11:00?

So the day ends at the musical fountain, which starts at about 18:30 or 19:00, without running past 20:00. The day is still about 9 hours with the drive back.
