Back at Ramnagar
Drive times come from road routing without traffic. The roads round Ramnagar are mostly flat and good, but the Kaladhungi road passes through forest and slows for villages and wildlife, and the Garjiya road is busy on festival days. Opening hours marked ? are not yet confirmed, so check them before you go.

Is one day enough for Jim Corbett?+
It is enough for one safari and the main sights outside the park. Two days give you two safaris in two zones, which is a much better chance of seeing a tiger.
Why go to Garjiya Devi straight after the safari?+
The temple is said to close from about 12:00 to 16:00. Going straight from the safari gets you there at about 10:45, well before it shuts.
Can I do the evening safari instead?+
Yes. Start the cab at 09:00 with Garjiya Devi and the Dhangarhi museum, be back by about 11:00, and take the evening shift, which starts at about 13:30 or 14:00 in winter. Kaladhungi then waits for another day.
