     Towards the evening, opt between enjoying a short city tour or spending time at the picturesque Marine Drive.

   Day 2 · based in Kumarakom

   Kochi to Kumarakom

   • Transfer to Kumarakom

     Check-out of the hotel in Kochi and leave for Kumarakom.

   • Houseboat check-in

     Once you arrive at the site of the houseboats, check into your own and relax.

   • Backwater cruise

     The houseboat will take you for a spin across the many canals that connect the backwaters, as well as the small villages and markets that border the canals.

   Day 3 · based in Kovalam

   Kumarakom to Kovalam

   • Transfer to Kovalam

     Check-out from the houseboat and transfer to Kovalam.

   • Hawaa Beach and Lighthouse Beach

     Later in the day, you can opt to visit the much acclaimed Hawaa Beach and Lighthouse Beach.

   • Day at leisure

     Enjoy the day at leisure. You can opt to visit some of the nearby attractions, such as the Samudra Beach Park, Vizhinjam Rock Temple and Vellar Tourist Village.

   Day 5 · based in Kovalam

   Kovalam sightseeing

   • Departure

     Proceed for the check-out formalities. You will be transferred to the nearest railway station/ airport for your journey back home.
